When Things Get Hard – And They Will

Let’s talk about the days when the motivation slips, when the cravings creep in, when it feels easier to stay where you are than to stretch one inch further.

Those days will come. They come for me too.

But here’s what I’ve learned: I don’t run from them. I go back to my Why.
I remember why I started Stretch Your Dash—not just for myself, but for the people who look to me, the legacy I want to leave, and the life I still have left to live, fully.

I lean on my people. I reach out. I say, “Hey, today’s tough.” Because vulnerability isn’t weakness—it’s a bridge.

I stop, breathe, and reflect on the progress I’ve made. Not perfection—progress. That shift in perspective changes everything.

That’s enough to course-correct. That’s enough to keep going.

So when it gets hard—and it will—you don’t have to be a hero. Just be real. Remember why you started. And take one more step.

We’re in this together.
