We often chase what’s measurable – time saved, money earned, goals achieved.
But the tMost mornings, the world rushes in before we’ve even rolled out of bed.
We wake up to noise – notifications, to-do lists, headlines, expectations. But recently, I’ve started doing something radical. I sit in silence.
No music. No phones. No agenda. Just breath. Stillness. Presence.
And here’s the truth: Silence isn’t empty. It’s full of answers.
In those moments, I’ve felt my shoulders drop, my thoughts slow down and ideas arrive – not because I chase them, but because I make space for them.
It’s not always comfortable. Silence can feel unfamiliar, even a bit intimidating. But discomfort is often the doorway to clarity.
So I am inviting you to a simple challenge : The Silent Stretch Challenge – Ten minutes a day, Seven Days. Sit in silence.
Here’s how to begin:
When: Try first thing in the morning
Where: A favorite chair
How: Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Let thoughts come and go. No judgement. No fixing. Just noticing.
You don’t need to meditate. You don’t need to “do it right”. You just need to show up – for yourself.
Let’s Stretch our Dash – not by doing more, but by being more.
With quiet gratitude.
