There’s something powerful about seeing a photo of someone you know in uniform. It turns Memorial Day from a national moment into a personal one. Today, I’m sharing a photo of my father‑in‑law during his time in service. A young man standing with courage and conviction – representing the countless men and women who stepped forward to protect the freedoms we live with today. While he returned home, many did not. And Memorial Day invites us to honor them, the fallen, by how we choose to live. It’s a reminder to reflect on our own dash: • Are we living with the gratitude their sacrifice deserves • Are we showing up for the people who matter • Are we using our time with intention We can’t repay the cost they carried, but we can honor it. By living fully. By loving deeply. By choosing purpose over hurry and presence over distraction. May we remember the fallen today – and carry their legacy forward in how we live our dash.
