The Strength You Build when Nobody is Watching

Grit is one of the most misunderstood strengths.
It’s not loud, or glamorous.
And it rarely feels heroic in the moment.

Most of the time, grit feels like this:
“I don’t know how this will turn out… but I’m not quitting today.”

I’ve lived through seasons where grit was my only superpower. Not because I was strong – but because I kept showing up. And if you’ve ever been in that place, you know exactly what that feels like.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

People get grit by doing hard things on purpose.
People keep grit by staying connected to their “why.”
People grow grit by refusing to let adversity have the final word.

And the impact?
Grit builds confidence.
Grit builds character.
Grit builds a life you’re proud of.

This week’s challenge:
Choose one thing – just one – that you will stick with for the next week.
A walk. A journal entry. A conversation. A habit.
Show yourself what you’re capable of.
Have a great week!.
